The Peace Village at Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte turns 6 this year. The existence of this Peace Rendezvous was made possible through the effort and initiative of our very own Schools Division Superintentent, Dr. Ma. Luisa B. Mutia.

The said Peace Village has been the venue for division and regional peace camps in the region. Currently, the peace village was not only intended for peace camps but it turns to be functional as a learning institution for the students. In this place stands also the Kalinaw Kalilintad Integrated Peace School where both Muslims and Christians were integrated to uphold and strengthen peace not only in the province but also to the whole world.

Madam Mutia further believed that Peace can be achieved through working together in promoting mutual respect and building desirable relationships not only to ourselves but to the community as well.

Through these achievements, the regional Peace Camp is conducted in the place on Feb. 4-5, 2011 back to back with the NMRAA Meet 2011. It is really a place where PEACE is experienced by the people who stayed in the village!
